About course:
Come satisfy that dream to learn to fly a seaplane just minutes from Philadelphia International Airport at KPNE in the summer, or Apopka Fl in the winter. With lakes and rivers to train in you’ll be sure you’re not only learning the fundamentals of seaplane flying, but also some of the more advanced skills needed to enable you to confidently land in less travelled areas and explore places rarely visited by others. The entire course averages about 5 hours, covers everything from take off’s, landings, docking and everything in between, and, since the Maule is amphibious and has 260HP, you’ll obtain both a high performance and complex endorsement at no additional cost during the rating! The course cost is $2,900 and includes instructor time, both endorsements, and 5 hours of airplane rental.
*Additional instruction is billed at the hourly rate of the aircraft.
